Associate Systems Engineer

Role & Responsibilities:

· Helpdesk & End-User Support: Serve as the first point of contact for IT support requests. Troubleshoot hardware, software, connectivity and general computer-related issues, and manage tickets.

· IT Asset & Inventory Management: Maintain accurate records of IT assets, software licences, warranties and maintenance schedules. Assist with procurement and disposal activities.

· Infrastructure Maintenance: Support the installation and maintenance of IT hardware and peripherals, including desktops, printers and IP telephony systems.

· VM Provisioning: Assist with the provisioning and basic configuration of virtual machines under guidance.

Requirements:

· IT hardware troubleshooting experience covering desktops, laptops and peripherals.

· Knowledge of Microsoft Windows and macOS environments.

· Fundamental knowledge of Active Directory, including user accounts, password resets and group membership.

· Basic networking knowledge, including TCP/IP, DNS and Wi-Fi.

· Fundamental knowledge of Windows Server and Ubuntu Server.

· Basic knowledge of VMware virtualization.
