Staff Nurse

Job Scope

• Provide nursing care including medication administration, treatments, wound care, and monitoring of residents’ conditions.
• Respond promptly to medical emergencies and provide appropriate nursing interventions.
• Supervise and support residents in activities of daily living and personal hygiene.
• Maintain accurate nursing documentation, care plans, and medical records.
• Monitor vital signs and report abnormalities or changes in residents’ conditions.
• Coordinate medical appointments, referrals, and follow-up care with healthcare professionals.
• Work closely with doctors, allied health professionals, caregivers, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic care.
• Ensure compliance with infection control standards and workplace safety.
• Provide health education and emotional support to residents and their families.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and continuous nursing education programmes.

Job Requirements:

• Registered with Singapore Nursing Board
• Diploma / Degree in Nursing
• At least 2 years of experience in Welfare Home
• Working Hours: AM / PM shift rotation (including Weekends & Public Holidays)
