Asst Manager, Payroll (1 year Contract)

· Manage and execute monthly payroll processing accurately and within stipulated timelines.

· Ensure payroll costs are posted correctly and promptly.

· Prepare and submit CPF, tax-related matters and government-paid leave claims accurately and on time.

· Handle payroll clearance, recovery and final payment computations for resignations, terminations and dismissals.

· Respond to employee payroll queries professionally while maintaining confidentiality and sensitivity.

· Partner with Business Units, Group HR and IT teams on policy changes, service requests, automation initiatives and UAT testing.

· Identify process gaps, perform root-cause analysis and implement improvements to strengthen payroll efficiency and accuracy.

· Maintain effective internal controls and ensure compliance with employment laws, statutory requirements and corporate HR policies.

· Liaise with internal and external auditors on payroll, employee data and headcount-related matters.

· Prepare payroll-related management reports and provide guidance to team members where required.
