CHEF

Job Description

We are looking for a responsible and experienced Cook / Chef to join our restaurant team.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook food according to the company's recipes and food quality standards.
• Ensure food is prepared in a timely, hygienic and consistent manner.
• Prepare ingredients, sauces and cooking materials before service.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the kitchen.
• Check the quality and freshness of ingredients.
• Monitor food portions and minimize food wastage.
• Assist with stock checking and kitchen inventory.
• Ensure proper handling and storage of food ingredients.
• Follow workplace safety and food hygiene requirements.
• Perform other kitchen duties as assigned by the management.

Requirements

• Relevant experience as a Cook / Chef in a restaurant or food establishment.
• Able to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
• Basic knowledge of food preparation, cooking and kitchen hygiene.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Responsible, punctual and willing to learn.
• Willing to work shifts, weekends and public holidays when required.
