Contract Specialist

Employment Type: Fixed-Term Contract (6 or 12 Months)

Key responsibilities:

• Draft, review, and coordinate standard commodity import and export contracts, agreements, and amendments to support the Company’s trading and shipping activities;

• Work closely with internal stakeholders to facilitate timely contract reviews, approvals, and execution;

• Ensure contract documentation is complete, accurate, and properly maintained;

• Track key contract milestones, obligations, and compliance requirements, ensuring timely follow-up and action;

• Maintain accurate contract records and reporting within contract management systems;

• Support audits by providing relevant contract documentation and information as required;

• Liaise with the Finance Department on the issuance and administration of Letters of Credit (LCs);

• Contribute to the smooth and efficient management of the Company’s shipping and contractual processes;

• Any other ad-hoc duties that may be assigned from time to time.
  

Requirements:

• Diploma in Business Administration or Logistic & Supply Chain or higher;

• Minimum 1 to 2 years of relevant experience in shipping, logistics, contract administration, or a related field;

• Sound knowledge of import and export contract management, contract administration, and Letter of Credit is preferred;

• Self-driven team player, strong interpersonal skills, analytical;

• Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under pressure;

• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint;

• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and Chinese, with the ability to communicate effectively with internal and external counterparts.
