About this job
- Responsible for the erection of the launching equipment according to the requirements of the Launcher Supplier Operations and Maintenance Manual and any other Manuals provided by the Launcher Supplier.
- Responsible for the overall operation of the launching quipment and accessories necessary for the safe execution of the guideway launching works, according to the requirements of the Launcher Supplier Operations and Maintenance Manual.
- Responsible to ensure that the segments are installed within the tolerances to satisfy the Project Document requirements.
- Responsible to ensure that works are performed to a quality standard that meets or exceeds the Project Requirements.
- Responsible to ensure that works are performed in a safe manner that meets or exceeds the requirements of the Local Safety Authority. Hold Daily Safety Tool Box meetings with the Launcher Team.
- Responsible to ensure that scheduling of traffic management is performed to meet the needs of Segment Delivery such that Launching can proceed without unnecessary delay.
- Responsible to ensure that access for Segment Delivery is in place and is in compliance to meet the needs of Segment Delivery such that Launching can proceed without unnecessary delay.
- Responsible to ensure that piers in advance of the Launcher are ready and in compliance so that Launching works can proceed as scheduled.
- Responsible to ensure that bearing upstands and Launcher pier anchoring devices in advance of the Launcher are ready and in compliance with Engineer Requirements such that Launching works can proceed as scheduled.
- Responsible to ensure that Segment Delivery is organized and coordinated such that Launching works can proceed as scheduled without delay.
