Job Summary

Electrical Engineers will support Professional Engineers by managing authority submissions, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to develop building service designs, and independently delivering electrical design elements within budget and schedule.

Responsibilities

• Assist Professional Engineers in preparing, liaising, and following up on Authority Submission to ensure compliance and timely approval
• Collaborate with Clients, Architects, Structural Engineers, and Quantity Surveyors to develop building service designs from concept through detailed stages
• Identify and resolve discrepancies in design results to maintain accuracy and quality
• Manage tasks independently to complete primary design elements for Electrical, ELV, Lightning Protection, and Lighting systems within agreed budgets and schedules
• Apply BIM Modelling skills to enhance design coordination and project delivery
• Communicate effectively and collaborate within teams to support project objectives and stakeholder engagement

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering from a recognized institution
• Familiarity with building codes and authority submission procedures
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while contributing as a team player
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
