Job Summary

The Maximo EAM Technical professional leads technical activities for Maximo solutions, resolving issues, innovating operational improvements, and supporting asset management projects to enhance service agility and efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Resolve Maximo technical issues by collaborating with clients and Maximo Functional Leads to deliver effective solutions.
• Prepare and implement solutions to address Maximo technical challenges, ensuring operational continuity.
• Innovate and streamline operational activities to improve service agility and efficiency.
• Apply creative problem-solving to deliver holistic and simple solutions for user challenges.
• Manage project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables to ensure timely completion of tasks.
• Ensure adherence to documented software processes and procedures throughout the software lifecycle.
• Develop and update Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) documentation to implement best practices, quality standards, and delivery methodologies.
• Provide maintenance support for Maximo projects, including installation, upgrades, patch management, automation scripting, and customization.
• Develop IBM Maximo Mobile applications and configure IBM Maximo Asset Management systems.
• Utilize SQL scripting skills across Oracle, SQL Server, and DB2 platforms to support Maximo database operations.
• Develop Maximo BIRT reports and leverage knowledge of Cognos reporting to enhance reporting capabilities.
• Implement Maximo Integration Framework (MIF) solutions, integrating Maximo with external systems via Web Services, File Table Interface, User Exit & Processing Classes, and data loading techniques.
• Communicate effectively in English, both written and verbal, with stakeholders at all organizational levels.
• Deliver and maintain high standards of customer satisfaction through strong client relationship management.
• Demonstrate self-motivation and enthusiasm to continuously expand Maximo knowledge and technical skills through self-paced learning.

Required competencies and certifications

• Experience in Maximo Application Suite implementation and upgrade.
• Experience integrating Maximo with other systems.
• Participation in at least two Asset Management project SDLCs and one Maximo Application Suite or Maximo Mobile project.
• IBM Maximo Mobile development expertise.
• IBM Maximo Asset Management technical skills including installation, upgrade, patch management, automation scripting, and customization.
• IBM Maximo configuration experience.
• Proficient in SQL scripting on Oracle, SQL Server, and DB2 databases.
• Maximo BIRT report development skills.
• Strong knowledge of Maximo Integration Framework (MIF) for external system integration.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Ability to maintain high customer satisfaction and build strong client relationships.
• Self-motivated to learn and develop Maximo technical skills.

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Maximo certification (optional).
• Knowledge of Cognos reporting (advantageous).
