About this job

The role

We are seeking an Intermediate Architectural Designer to take independent ownership of design and documentation across our portfolio of high-end residential, hospitality, cinema, restaurant and bar, yacht and bespoke projects. You will develop architectural and interior-architectural design from concept through construction-ready documentation, working to the architectural direction of the Principal Architect and alongside the Project Architect on delivery.

You will work both collaboratively and independently, manage fast-paced deadlines, incorporate client and authority feedback, and coordinate with WeCraft's outsourced documentation partners.

About WeCraft Group

WeCraft Group is an interdisciplinary design house working across architecture, interior architecture, product and furniture design, and project management. We are headquartered in Singapore, with projects in Thailand and Japan.

Our work spans high-end residential, cinema and entertainment, restaurant and bar, hospitality and, distinctively, yacht interiors. We integrate creative vision with fabrication and construction delivery: we guide and oversee build quality from concept to installation, and we hold the sourcing and quality-control process ourselves, working with craftspeople, fabricators and builders in Singapore and the region.

We transform inventive ideas into environments of enduring beauty, integrity and function. We are looking for people who want to accomplish the same within a team workplace culture.

What you will do
- Own the design documentation of architectural and interior-architectural projects from concept to construction-ready sets, meeting client specifications, budget and programme.
- Create detailed drawings, BIM models and renderings, and assemble coordinated DD and CD sets.
- Develop design in line with WeCraft's design language and each project's objectives, to the Principal Architect's direction.
- Coordinate with sub-disciplines (MEP, C&S) and external consultants to resolve technical and constructability issues.
- Support the Project Architect through documentation and construction, and coordinate with the outsourced documentation partners.
- Participate in client and authority meetings; gather, interpret and integrate feedback.

What you bring
- Bachelor's (or professional) degree in Architecture / Architectural Design from an accredited institution.
- 5 to 7 years of professional architectural or interior-architectural experience, ideally including high-end custom residential.
- Demonstrated DD and CD development experience and sound knowledge of assembling For Construction / For Fabrication sets.
- Sound understanding of Singapore building codes (BCA, URA, SCDF) and of consultant coordination.
- Strong creative thinking, problem-solving, organisation and the ability to run multiple projects at once.
- This role does not offer work-pass sponsorship; applicants must already be authorised to work in Singapore.

Software

Revit (fluent), AutoCAD, SketchUp and/or Rhino, Enscape / V-Ray, and Adobe Creative Suite. ArchiCAD exposure welcome.

What success looks like in the first 6 to 12 months
- Independently delivers coordinated, construction-ready packages with minimal senior rework.
- Becomes a dependable point of coordination with consultants and the outsourced documentation partners.
- Contributes to studio quality and standards, and grows toward senior / project-architect responsibility.

Compensation

SGD 3,000 - 5,500 per month, commensurate with experience and portfolio, plus a discretionary performance bonus.

Benefits and the full compensation package are discussed with shortlisted candidates.

What we look for

Beyond technical skill, we hire for attitude. The people who thrive at WeCraft are:
- Owners: driven, proactive and eager to grow, pushing work forward rather than waiting to be told.
- Problem-solvers: resourceful and resilient, working through design and technical challenges to practical solutions.
- Team players: collaborative, communicative and generous, strengthening studio culture across our Singapore team and our international collaborators.

Why join us

Join a craft-led studio shaping bespoke environments, with real ownership of design and documentation and close exposure to delivery under an experienced Project Architect and the Principal Architect. We are a small studio running substantial projects, which means the people here carry real responsibility early, and there is no layer between you and the Principals.

How to apply

Interested candidates should send their resume, portfolio and a short cover letter to [email protected].
