Studio Operations Executive (Virtual Production)

Brief description of the job duties and responsibilities

• Support the daily operations of a virtual production studio, including studio setup, data and resource management, and maintenance of facilities, equipment, and software.

• Operate and maintain immersive technology and virtual production systems such as Aximmetry, Vicon Motion Capture, DMX lighting, and related studio platforms.

• Support lecturers in planning, coordination, and execution of immersive media projects, including Virtual Reality (VR), Augmented Reality (AR), Mixed Reality (MR), and Virtual Production initiatives.

• Conduct research and development activities, evaluate emerging technologies, and prepare project documentation, reports, and presentations.

• Support stakeholder engagement, outreach activities, and multimedia content creation, as well as other duties assigned in support of the Studio.

Skills / knowledge / experience required and/or preferred:

• Relevant qualification in Digital Media (Animation, Games or Visual Effects), Film Production, Computer Science, or equivalent.
• Demonstrated abilities in Unreal Engine, Virtual Production, Film Production, Animation, Games Development or Visual Effects.
• Familiarity with XR, VR, AR technologies is a plus.
• Good organisational and time management skills with the ability to document studio activities, schedules, and projects
• Ability to learn and work independently and as part of a team in a dynamic environment.

Contract Duration: 11 months

Working Arrangement:

• Monday to Thursday, 8.30 am to 6.00 pm
• Friday, 8.30 am to 5.30 pm

Salary: $2,760 per month
