Building Technical Officer (NEN 2767 Certified)

Responsibilities

• Conduct building condition assessments following the NEN-2767 standard to evaluate facility status accurately
• Perform regular inspections of buildings and environments, producing detailed inspection reports such as building inspection documentation
• Represent the company during client and Authority inspection regimes, ensuring compliance and clear communication
• Collaborate with the Facilities Management team to identify, track, and close out defects effectively
• Maintain the facility base by supporting core Facilities Management tasks and responding to operational needs
• Conduct additional inspections as required to support facility management objectives
• Utilize a Computerized Facilities Management (FM) system to document inspections and generate reports efficiently
• Assist the manager with related functions to support team goals and operational effectiveness

Required competencies and certifications

• Specialist Certificate in Building Condition Assessment (mandatory for conducting assessments)
• Knowledge of NEN-2767 Dutch Standard for Building Condition Assessment to ensure compliance and quality
• Diploma or Higher NITEC or NITEC in a building-related field (Building, Facilities Management) to provide foundational technical knowledge

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Experience conducting building and environment inspections to apply practical skills in assessment
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) to support reporting and documentation tasks
• Strong computer literacy to effectively use digital tools and FM systems
