Sales Engineer

Job Summary

Estudio Technologies seeks a result-driven and dynamic professional to tender for projects and manage the technical sales process, identifying opportunities, building key relationship with existing clients, and opening new business opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Able to read and understand M&E technical drawings, schematics and specifications
• Analyse market trends, customer needs and competitions to inform strategic decisions
• Build and sustain strong relationship with architects, ID firms, M&E consultants, developers, main contractors and owners
• Able to understand a client’s requirements and to present effectively to the client our solutions and value propositions
• Provide pre-sales and application support by working with technical teams to address client’s requirements
• Monitor sales pipeline and report progress against targets to ensure goal achievement
• Technical knowledge in the following will be advantageous:

- HAVC / air-conditioning controls

- Lighting control

- Motorised curtains / blinds

- CCTV & security

- Access control

- Video intercom

- Home/building automation

- Networking and system integration

Required competencies and certifications

• Minimum Nitec certificate or diploma qualification
• Proficient in using Microsoft Office (Excel, Power Point)
• Proficient in using CAD Drawing
• Good command of language to communicate effectively in written and verbal formats

· Proven analytical and problem-solving skills with a results-oriented approach

· Established network within the system integrator community

· Possession of own vehicle to facilitate customer visits and field activities

· Demonstrated understanding of control systems, panel assembly practices, and associated components

· Strong negotiation skill

• Experience is selling to high-end residential, commercial or hospitality projects will be advantageous

Preferred competencies and qualifications

· Minimum 5 years sales experience in the building automation / ELV / M&E / system integration / smart building, or related industries
