Job Summary

We seek a motivated Sales & Storekeeper specializing in marine valves and actuators to manage full sales cycles and store operations, developing business with shipowners, shipyards, and marine design institutes across Southeast Asia.

Responsibilities

• Promote and sell marine valves, actuators, and related marine equipment to shipowners, shipyards, and design institutes across Southeast Asia
• Manage full sales cycle including preparing quotations, coordinating technical details, supporting bids, following up orders, and arranging deliveries
• Perform daily store-keeping operations such as stock checking and inventory management to maintain accurate inventory levels
• Build and sustain strong customer relationships to support client retention and satisfaction
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand market presence
• Utilize online marketing skills to enhance product visibility and generate leads (advantageous)
• Travel to shipyards for site visits to support sales and technical coordination
• Read and interpret basic technical drawings in English to assist in sales and customer communication

Required competencies and certifications

• Diploma or higher in Marine Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Naval Architecture, or related disciplines
• Minimum 2 years of experience in marine equipment or valve sales
• Familiarity with classification society standards such as DNV, ABS, and CCS
• Effective communication and negotiation skills
• Self-driven with ability to work independently

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Experience in online marketing to support sales activities
• Singapore Citizen or Singapore Permanent Resident (not mandatory but preferred)
