Senior Technology Cooperation Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Perform technology scouting relevant to innovations for ICT, consumer electronics and various smart devices. Prepare the technology insights reports in selected fields.
• Identify and evaluate new technological trends or business opportunities
• Cultivate partnerships and exchange with international innovation teams.
• Establish the partnership with universities, research institutes and startups. Support existing research collaboration relationships.
• Work in close collaboration and constant communication with peers. Assist with identifying collaborative projects partners, budgets and timelines. Provide guidance and advice on IPR and usage. Review agreements and lead the negotiation of business and IPR position for the collaboration projects in consultant with relevant stakeholders.
• Manage timelines and capacities to handle multiple tasks at a time.
• To collaborate and communicate directly with English- and Chinese-speaking officers, stakeholders, counterparts, and customers, including the China headquarters team and international partners.

Job Requirements:

• Master's and above degrees in Computer Science or Electrical and Electronic Engineering
• Proficiency in both English and Mandarin (written and spoken) is required to effectively communicate and collaborate with English- and Chinese-speaking stakeholders, including headquarters, regional counterparts, and customers in cross-cultural and multinational work environments.
• Excellent networking skills, both internal and external.
• Strong aptitude for working with a broad range of scientific and innovative disciplines.
• Strong willingness to learn and gain deeper competencies in various fields.
• Strong eagerness to translate insights into opportunities.
• Advanced creative, deductive and entrepreneurial thinking.
• Good Project Management skills.
• Conscientious, responsible, self-motivated. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• People leadership skills and a proven capability to lead in matrix organizations without formal disciplinary responsibility.
• Analytical and conceptualization skills.
• Advanced ability to structure, illustrate and or communicate complex concepts in an understandable, practicable manner
• More than 2 years of experience in industry-university-research cooperation
• Have a basic understanding of tax and legal knowledge.
• Advanced engineering experience within research and development.
• Experience in performing technology scouting, trend research, innovation, benchmarking.
• Project or Team management experience.
