Job Summary
You will manage and execute HR functions including payroll processing, recruitment, work pass administration, employee onboarding/offboarding, policy review, and employee engagement to support organizational goals and compliance.
Responsibilities
- Implement HR programmes and activities to support organizational objectives
- Process payroll accurately in the HR system, ensuring compliance with MOM guidelines and internal policies
- Submit tax clearance and IR8A forms timely and accurately
- Collaborate with HR & Admin Manager to review and update HR policies and processes aligned with company goals
- Manage recruitment activities including posting job advertisements, screening resumes, coordinating interviews, and selecting candidates
- Administer work pass applications, renewals, and cancellations to ensure legal compliance
- Coordinate onboarding for new hires and offboarding for resigning employees
- Prepare employment-related letters such as Letters of Appointment and Confirmation letters
- Maintain and update employee personal files and HR system records accurately
- Monitor and prepare appraisal forms for confirmation, work pass expiration, and contract renewals
- Administer employee leave benefits and medical reimbursement processes
- Facilitate grant applications by coordinating, verifying, and submitting documents to relevant government agencies across the group
- Plan and execute employee engagement and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) events collaboratively
- Prepare HR and Sustainability reports for management review
- Perform other ad hoc duties as assigned
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Knowledge of HRIS systems, specifically Timesoft, is an advantage
- Proficiency in MS Office applications, especially Excel for reporting purposes
- Experience in mediation and conflict resolution processes
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent interpersonal and adaptability skills
- Meticulous attention to detail
- Demonstrated honesty, ethics, and dependability
