About the Job

Capco’s Data Team helps our clients transform every aspect of their business. We are highly skilled at formulating data strategy, defining business and technology initiatives across the data management lifecycle and aligning multi-year strategic roadmaps with clients’ business goals. As digital technologies advance and regulations tighten, today’s consumers and today’s businesses are becoming more aware of the importance of good quality data. We work to establish holistic ways to effectively manage data through the modern data supply chain and facilitate consumption through analytics, modelling, AI, machine learning, dashboarding, and reporting.

What You'll Get to Do

  • Design, implement, and enhance enterprise Data Governance and Data Management Frameworks across banking and financial services clients.
  • Develop and maintain data governance artifacts including data dictionaries, business glossaries, metadata catalogues, data lineage, critical data elements, and data classification standards.
  • Support enterprise Data Architecture, Data Quality, Master Data Management (MDM), and Metadata Management initiatives.
  • Drive Data Sovereignty, Data Residency, and Regulatory Compliance programs aligned with banking and financial services requirements.
  • Partner with business, technology, risk, compliance, and executive stakeholders to embed governance across the data lifecycle.
  • Deliver data transformation initiatives using Agile methodologies and support executive-level reporting and governance forums.
  • Leverage governance tools such as Collibra, Informatica, Microsoft Purview, Ab Initio, or similar platforms to improve data transparency, control, and quality.

What You'll Bring With You

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Analytics, Finance, Mathematics, Operations Research, or a related discipline.
  • 10+ years' proven experience delivering Data Governance, Data Management, Data Architecture, Data Quality, or Enterprise Data Transformation programs.
  • Strong financial services experience across Banking, Wealth Management, Insurance, or Capital Markets.
  • Knowledge of industry frameworks such as DCAM, Data Governance Operating Models, Control Frameworks, and Data Lifecycle Management.
  • Experience with Data Lineage, Metadata Management, Master Data Management, Data Quality, and Data Architecture.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to engage senior executives, regulators, and cross-functional teams.
  • Hands-on experience with Collibra (preferred) or other enterprise data governance and metadata management tools.
  • Experience delivering projects using Agile or hybrid methodologies.
  • Fluent English communication skills; Arabic language skills advantageous for regional engagements.

Nice to Have

  • Experience delivering data governance programs aligned to BCBS 239, CCAR, GDPR, PIPL, MAS TRM, or related financial services regulations.
  • Knowledge of Data Sovereignty, Cross-Border Data Management, and Data Privacy frameworks.
  • Experience with cloud-based data transformation and enterprise data platforms.
  • Relevant certifications such as DCAM, CDMP, DAMA, AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Proven programme delivery and change management experience, including large-scale data transformation initiatives.
