About this job

Key Responsibilities

  • Review project drawings specifications, and scope of work upon project award; attend kick-off meetings to align internal teams.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, coordinating with production and installation teams to ensure timely delivery and completion.
  • Liaise with procurement and production departments to ensure materials and finished products are available according to project timelines.
  • Prepare shop drawings , as built drawings and maintain project documents, including submission schedules, method statements, risk assessments, and shop drawing approvals
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, interior designers, architects, and main contractors regarding project progress, variations, and site coordination.
  • Coordinate with subcontractors for specialized works (e.g., installation, laminating, polishing; monitor their performance and compliance with contract terms.
  • Attend site meetings, coordinate with main contractors on site access, safety requirements, and work sequences.
  • Identify, document, and manage variation orders; obtain necessary approvals and

  • Attend site meetings and internal coordination meetings; prepare and distribute meeting minutes with action items.
  • Maintain organized project files, including drawings, approvals, correspondence, and variation records.


Qualifications & Requirements

  • Diploma or Degree in Project Management, Construction Management, Interior Design, Architecture, Civil Engineering, or related field
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in project coordination or project management within the furniture, carpentry, joinery, or interior fit-out industry. Site experience is an added advantage
  • Ability to draw shop drawings, and joinery details; proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); ability to use with AutoCAD , Revit and 3D software.
  • Proficiency in English (written and spoken); bilingual in Mandarin is an advantage for liaising with Mandarin-speaking workers, suppliers, and subcontractors.
  • Class 3 driving license is an advantage; willing to travel to multiple project sites as required
