Our client, a renowned Our client, a leading global institutional investment firm, has an opportunity for an experienced Commodities Portfolio Manager.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Manage a discretionary commodities portfolio across energy, base metals, precious metals and agriculture
• Generate alpha through active management of commodity exposures across broad commodity indices and individual markets
• Translate macroeconomic and fundamental views into appropriately sized and hedged commodity positions
• Manage exposure to broad commodity benchmarks and their respective sub-indices
• Identify and execute opportunities across outright, relative-value, spread, curve and volatility strategies
• Utilise derivatives including futures, swaps and options to express investment views and manage portfolio risk.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Approximately 5–10 years of commodities trading and/or portfolio management experience
• Demonstrated track record managing or trading a discretionary commodities portfolio with P&L responsibility
• Strong cross-commodity experience across energy, metals and agriculture
• Broad commodities exposure is preferred over deep specialisation within only one commodity or market.
