Finance Associate

We are seeking a motivated Finance Associate to work closely with and report to the Finance and Operations Manager in supporting the Company’s day-to-day finance and business operations. The role covers accounting operations, revenue and fee administration, financial and regulatory reporting, audits, management reporting, and process improvement.

The successful candidate will demonstrate strong attention to detail, a proactive and collaborative mindset, and an interest in using technology and AI to improve the way work is performed.

How you can add value

• Support day-to-day accounting activities, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payment processing, and expense claims.
• Assist with the calculation, reconciliation, and accounting of management fees, performance fees, retrocession income, and other revenue.
• Support financial closing processes, including the preparation of financial reports, supporting schedules, and management information.
• Assist with statutory financial statements, tax filings, annual audits, and regulatory reports and submissions, including those required by MAS.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external service providers, and provide administrative and documentation support for internal governance and business meetings.
• Contribute to process improvement and undertake other responsibilities in support of the Finance function and the Company’s business operations.

What you bring

• A bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related discipline.
• Up to two years of relevant experience in accounting, audit, finance operations, or financial services. Candidate with relevant internships or practical experience are welcome to apply.
• A good understanding of accounting principles and applicable Singapore Financial Reporting Standards. Experience with Xero or other accounting software will be an advantage
• A proactive attitude, willingness to learn, and commitment to producing accurate and reliable work.
