Facilities Executive (Data Centre)

Key Responsibilities

1. Work as part of a 2-person DCFM rotating team for shifts on a 24 x 7 shift basis.
2. Carry out work in accordance with site processes and requirements
3. General facilities duties, including monitoring of equipment and report on daily condition.
4. Supervise preventive maintenance activities and ad-hoc work orders for mechanical, electrical, and other installed M&E systems, ensuring timely and high-quality execution
5. Supervise onsite vendors to ensure timely and high-quality work
6. Ensure proper escalation in accordance with incident escalation process.
7. Capable of reviewing SOPs, MOPs, and EOPs
8. Capable to update daily progress of work , equipment status, maintenance service chits and or work orders via a CMS system
9. Ensure that service level agreements (SLA) and key performance indicators (KPI) are consistently met
10. Able to carry out impact assessment during system fault and technically sound to contain fault to ensure M&E system service continuity.
11. Proactively look out for site abnormalities and possible areas of improvement, recommend solutions and put-up proposal to Supervisor.
12. Prepare to be deployed back to site when on standby duty during non-working hours
13. Occasionally carry out minor repair work such as replacing lighting, SSO replacement etc
14. Any other duties assigned by DCFM/DCFO technical officers, engineers and managers

Required Qualifications

1. Nitec / Higher Nitec / Diploma in Electrical/Mechanical/DC Infrastructure or relevant engineering discipline (Electrical, Mechanical or related fields)

2. Additional certifications relevant to the industry is an added advantage

3. 1-2 years’ experience maintaining electrical, mechanical, fire protection system in facility management, particularly handling critical systems would be an added plus. Additional training will be provided.

4. Strong problem-solving abilities, communication skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team

5. Proficient in Computer skills eg. Microsoft office, google emails , docs etc.

6. Shift work & Standby Duty is required (Shift allowance available)
