CHEF

Job Description

We are looking for a skilled and responsible Cook / Chef to join our kitchen team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and cooking food according to the company’s recipes, food quality standards and hygiene requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook food according to recipes and menu requirements.
• Prepare ingredients, sauces and other food items for daily kitchen operations.
• Handle cooking, food preparation and plating efficiently.
• Maintain consistent food quality, taste and presentation.
• Ensure proper food handling, storage and kitchen hygiene.
• Monitor food preparation and minimise food wastage.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen and cooking equipment.
• Assist with stock checking and kitchen inventory when required.
• Follow food safety, workplace safety and company procedures.
• Work closely with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth daily operations.
• Perform other kitchen-related duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements:

• Minimum 1–2 years of relevant experience in a restaurant or food service environment preferred.
• Experience in local / Singaporean / Peranakan cuisine will be an advantage.
• Knowledge of food preparation, cooking methods and kitchen hygiene.
• Able to work independently as well as in a team.
• Able to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
• Good attitude, responsible and willing to learn.
• Able to work shifts, weekends and public holidays when required.
