Quantity Surveyor

We are looking for a responsible and detail-oriented Quantity Surveyor to support project costmanagement, tendering, and contract administration for construction andinterior fit-out projects. The successful candidate will help manage projectcosts, prepare tender documents, and ensure projects are completed withinbudget while meeting quality and contractual requirements.

KeyResponsibilities

• Prepare cost estimates, Bills of Quantities (BQ), tender documents and quotations.
• Source, evaluate, and compare quotations from subcontractors and suppliers.
• Assist in tender submissions and tender evaluations.
• Prepare progress claims, variation orders and final accounts.
• Monitor project costs and budgets throughout the project.
• Support procurement and material costing.
• Liaise withclients, consultants, subcontractors and suppliers on project and contractualmatters.
• Maintain properproject documentation and records.
• Support contract administration and cost control.
• Attend project meetings and site visits when required.
• Ensure work complies with company procedures and contractual requirements.
• Perform other duties assigned by management.

JobRequirements

• Diploma or Degree in Quantity Surveying, Building, Construction Management or a related discipline.
• At least 3 years of Singapore-based experience as a Quantity Surveyor.
• Experience in construction or interior fit-out projects.
• Able to handle both pre-contract and post-contract works.
• Good knowledge of construction contracts, tendering, cost control and contract administration.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and quantity surveying/costing software.
• Knowledge or experience in using Bluebeam will be an added advantage.
• Knowledge or experience in using the ARIBA system and GeBIZ tender submission will be anadded advantage.
• Good analytical, negotiation and communication skills.
• Able to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
• Responsible, organized and able to meet deadlines.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment and handle tight project deadlines.
