Procurement Director (automotive electronics / Ubi/ IATF)

About the role

Lead the end-to-end design of procurement frameworks, policies, and SOPs, establish category strategies for direct and indirect spend, and implement supplier performance and risk management frameworks. Drive strategic sourcing and enterprise-level contract negotiations to deliver cost reduction and total cost of ownership optimization without compromising quality or delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end design of procurement frameworks, policies, and SOPs, establish category strategies for direct and indirect spend, and implement supplier performance and risk management frameworks.
• Drive strategic sourcing and enterprise-level contract negotiations to deliver cost reduction and total cost of ownership optimization without compromising quality or delivery.
• Build and manage the supplier base through regular audits and performance reviews, cultivating strategic partnerships within the automotive electronics ecosystem.
• Develop and lead a high-performing procurement team by defining roles and career paths while fostering continuous improvement and cross-functional collaboration.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or above in Supply Chain, Engineering, or related field.
• 10+ years of progressive procurement experience, a proven track record in the automotive electronics industry.
• Hands-on experience building procurement functions from scratch, deep knowledge of APAC/SEA supply markets.
