Job Summary

Support daily kitchen operations to deliver high-quality food and excellent guest service at Novotel Singapore on Stevens and Mercure Singapore on Stevens.

Responsibilities

• Direct daily kitchen operations to ensure smooth workflow and timely food preparation
• Prepare food items following standard recipes to maintain consistent quality
• Assist guests at the food counter to provide attentive and friendly service
• Verify that all mis en-place items are correctly prepared and ready for use
• Monitor portion control to ensure accurate serving sizes for food orders
• Inspect food items to confirm they meet quality standards before service
• Taste food items to ensure flavor and quality before placing them on the food counter
• Arrange food displays on the counter to maintain an appealing presentation
• Station at the food counter during buffet periods to manage food service efficiently
• Supervise and assist in cooking food orders and preparing sauces to meet quality expectations
• Perform other reasonable duties assigned by management to support kitchen operations
