Role OverviewThe Entertainment Supervisor oversees day-to-day stage operations, rehearsal coordination, and live entertainment production. This role acts as a primary liaison between performers, technical crews, and venue management to deliver high-quality, punctual performances while upholding strict venue safety and operational standards.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
Talent Supervision & Show Operations
Supervise performers, entertainers, and support crew during daily rehearsals, stage calls, and live performances.
Prepare and manage duty rosters, scheduling performer rotations, call times, and rest periods.
Conduct pre-show briefings to communicate show rundowns, cue adjustments, and house protocols.
Monitor performer attendance, punctuality, and overall presentation standards, providing constructive feedback to maintain production quality.
Coordinate stage, venue, and front-of-house operations to ensure all shows start strictly on schedule.
Stage & Production Coordination
Oversee backstage operations, ensuring green rooms, stage wings, and quick-change areas are orderly, secure, and hazard-free.
Control and call performer cues, managing seamless stage entrances, exits, and scene transitions.
Direct the inventory, setup, and safe handling of all stage props, instruments, and costumes.
Coordinate with sound, lighting, and audio-visual technicians to ensure cue precision and technical reliability.
Manage operational contingencies and make quick decisions during unexpected live performance issues.
Reporting & Administration
Serve as the main operational link between stage personnel and the Entertainment Manager.
Compile and submit daily show logs detailing attendance records, technical notes, and audience feedback.
Support the Entertainment Manager with auditions, talent onboarding, and compliance with venue health and safety guidelines.
Requirements
Relevant diploma or degree in Arts/Entertainment Management, Theatre Production, Hospitality, or a related field.
Minimum 2–3 years of supervisory or operational experience in live entertainment, stage production, nightlife, or performing arts.
Solid practical understanding of stagecraft, performer cueing, AV/lighting coordination, and backstage workflows.
Strong leadership, conflict-resolution, and clear verbal communication skills in fast-paced live production environments.
Flexibility to work shift hours, including late nights, weekends, and public holidays, aligned with performance schedules.
