Food Safety Officer

• Position: Food Safety Officer

• Location: Bedok

• Working hours: Monday to Friday (9am - 6pm), Alternate Saturday (9am - 1pm)

• Salary (commensurate with experience): Up to $3,800 Monthly Basic Salary + Performance Bonus + Medical Benefits

• Duration: Permanent

• Industry: F&B (Catering)

Main Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement and maintain the company’s Food Safety Assurance System.

• Conduct food-safety inspections, compliance checks and internal audits across operating premises.

• Investigate food-safety incidents, identify root causes and recommend corrective and preventive actions.

• Follow up on SFA-related findings and ensure timely rectification of non-compliance issues.

• Conduct food-safety and hygiene training for employees where required.

• Maintain and update ISO 22000 documentation for the central kitchen.

• Prepare audit, investigation and compliance reports for management review.

• Monitor corrective actions and ensure findings are properly closed out.

• Maintain accurate food-safety, audit and training records.

• Perform other related food-safety and quality duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Food Safety, Nutrition or a related discipline.

• At least two years of relevant experience in food safety, QA/QC, food manufacturing or catering operations.

• Familiar with Singapore Food Agency requirements and food-safety compliance.

• Hands-on experience with ISO 22000 and working knowledge of HACCP, GMP or related food-safety systems.

• Experience conducting internal audits and following up on corrective and preventive actions would be advantageous.

• Good documentation, investigation and report-writing skills.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
