Software Engineer(Trading Solution)

This role is dedicated to designing, developing, andmaintaining high-performance trading solutions, including FIX engines, OrderManagement Systems (OMS), market data feeds, and execution gateways, acrossmulti-asset classes including stocks, derivatives, FX, and cryptocurrency.

Key Responsibilities

1. Software Development: Design, develop, and maintain low-latency, high-throughput C++ applications for trading systems and related infrastructure.
2. System Design & Architecture: Participate in architectural discussions and contribute to the design of scalable, reliable, and performant trading solutions.
3. Performance Optimization: Profile and optimize C++ code for latency, memory usage, and throughput in a real-time trading environment.
4. Integration & Connectivity: Develop and maintain connectivity to exchanges, market data providers, and internal systems using protocols such as FIX, WebSocket, and TCP/IP.
5. Testing & Quality Assurance: Write unit tests, integration tests, and participate in code reviews to ensure high code quality and reliability.
6. Incident & Problem Resolution: Investigate and resolve production issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement fixes and preventive measures.
7. Collaboration: Work with IT business analysts, vendors, quants, and other developers to implement enhancements, new features, and software upgrades.
8. Process Improvement: Contribute to improving development workflows, CI/CD pipelines, and automation of manual tasks.

Qualifications

1. Proven experience in C++ software development (C++11/14/17 or later) in a production environment.
2. Strong understanding of object-oriented design, data structures, algorithms, and multithreading/concurrency.
3. Experience with low-latency or high-performance systems is a strong advantage.
4. Familiarity with network programming (TCP/IP, UDP, multicast) and messaging protocols such as FIX.
5. Proficiency in Python for scripting, automation, or tooling is an advantage.
6. Hands-on exposure to software testing processes, including unit testing, regression testing, and UAT coordination.
7. Experience with version control (Git), CI/CD pipelines, and agile development practices.
8. Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
9. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
10. Prior experience in financial technology, trading software, or exchange connectivity is a strong advantage.
