FOOD PACKAGING WORKER

The client operates in food packing, specializing in the separation, sealing, and labeling of food products following standard procedures to ensure quality and safety.

Job Summary

You will pack and label food products accurately, verify weights and expiry dates, inspect food quality, maintain hygiene, and comply with food safety regulations in a refrigerated environment.

Responsibilities

• Pack and label food products accurately according to company standards to ensure product quality
• Verify product weight and expiry dates to maintain compliance and accuracy
• Inspect food appearance and smell to detect abnormalities and ensure safety
• Follow food safety regulations and standards to maintain compliance with Singapore Food Agency (SFA) requirements
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the work area to ensure a safe and sanitary environment
• Clean packaging tools and equipment regularly to prevent contamination
• Assist in arranging stock and loading to support efficient inventory management
• Work effectively in cold or refrigerated environments while standing for extended periods

Required competencies and certifications

• Comply with Singapore Food Agency (SFA) food safety regulations

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Basic literacy skills to read labels and expiry dates accurately

Other Information

• Working Days: 5.5 Days/Week
• Working Hours: 10.00 AM – 7.00 PM (Mon to Fri) OR 2.00 PM – 11.00 PM (Mon to Fri)
• Saturday: Half Day
• Salary: $1800.00 per month (Negotiable)
