Job Summary

The Performing Arts Manager oversees all aspects of venue operations and artistic programming, ensuring exceptional audience experiences and operational excellence. This role balances creative vision with financial performance, leading the team to deliver high-quality performances and events.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement performance schedules by collaborating with artists, directors, and production staff to meet artistic and financial objectives
• Motivate and guide front-of-house, technical, and artistic teams to deliver seamless productions and outstanding audience service
• Oversee preparation and maintenance of performance spaces to ensure safety, welcoming environments, and technical readiness
• Build and maintain strong relationships with patrons, season ticket holders, and community partners to enhance audience satisfaction and loyalty
• Manage reservations, ticketing, and seating arrangements to optimize venue capacity and maximize revenue opportunities
• Take full ownership of venue operations by ensuring smooth service flow, resolving operational issues efficiently, and providing proactive leadership
• Foster innovation and maintain high artistic standards by encouraging creative initiatives and consistent team motivation
