Join SAMH Outpatient Clinic as a Senior Resident Physician / Senior Staff Physician
St Andrew’s Mission Hospital (SAMH) Outpatient Clinic is looking for a Full Time Senior Resident Physician/Senior Staff Physician to lead our outpatient clinic in delivering high-quality, person centred primary care to our community.
The successful candidate will provide clinical leadership for the outpatient clinic and oversee the delivery of comprehensive primary care services.
Key Responsibilities
Leading the outpatient clinic in the provision of safe, effective and patient-centred clinical services
Providing primary care services to members of the public and healthcare staff, including:
- Acute care
- Chronic disease management
Preventive health and screening
Applying Healthier SG protocols and processes in clinical practice
Providing teleconsultation services where appropriate
Performing simple office-based procedures and statutory medical examinations
Working collaboratively with nurses, allied health professionals and other members of the multidisciplinary team
Supporting the development and improvement of clinical services at the outpatient clinic
Undertake other relevant duties as assigned by the Medical Director.
Qualifications and Experience
A medical degree recognised by the Singapore Medical Council (SMC)
At least one relevant postgraduate qualification in Family Medicine, with a minimum of Graduate Diploma in Family Medicine (GDFM)
Minimum 8 years of relevant post-qualification clinical experience
Full Registration with the Singapore Medical Council and eligible to practise in Singapore
Demonstrated strong clinical judgement and commitment to delivering quality patient care
Able to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team
Demonstrates integrity, professionalism and a strong sense of responsibility
Highly motivated, proactive and committed to continuous improvement
Good to have:
Experience working in a primary care setting, such as a polyclinic or general practice
Familiarity with Healthier SG programmes, protocols and workflows
Experience in telemedicine/teleconsultation
Experience performing simple primary-care procedures
