Microsoft Purview Security Consultant

Role Description:

Direct Responsibilities

We are seeking an experienced Microsoft Purview Specialist to design, implement and support enterprise-wide data governance, information protection, and compliance solutions.

The successful candidate will play a key role in developing and deploying Microsoft Purview capabilities across complex environments, ensuring sensitive information is appropriately classified, protected, and governed.

Required Skills & Experience

• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Purview solution design and implementation.

· Demonstrated experience with:

a) Microsoft Purview Information Protection(Sensitivity Labels, Auto-Labelling, Sensitive Information Types, Label Policies, MIP Scanner)

b) Microsoft Purview Data Loss Prevention(DLP)

c) Insider Risk Management, DSPM, and Information Barriers

d) Data Classification, Data Governance, and Information Protection

• Experience with Microsoft 365 Security, Compliance, and Purview technologies.
• Proven experience delivering production deployments in regulated environments, including planning, testing, change management, hypercare, and operational support.
• Strong PowerShell scripting, automation, and platform administration skills.
• Knowledge of security and compliance frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR, PDPA, and MASTRM guidelines.
