Procurement Manager

Key Responsibilities

Oversee and manage the company’s overall procurement activities for ACMV manufacturing operations.

Develop procurement strategies to ensure timely availability of materials, competitive pricing and consistent quality.

Lead and manage the Procurement team, including planning, workload allocation and performance management.

Source, evaluate and negotiate with suppliers on pricing, quality, payment terms and delivery schedules.

Manage key suppliers and develop long-term strategic supplier relationships.

Monitor purchase orders, material requirements and delivery schedules to support production and project timelines.

Work closely with Production, Planning, Project, Engineering, Warehouse, QA/QC and Finance teams to ensure smooth operations.

Monitor material costs, inventory levels and procurement spending, and identify cost-saving opportunities.

Develop alternative suppliers and sourcing strategies to reduce supply and cost risks.

Manage supplier performance, including delivery, quality, pricing and service levels.

Resolve supplier disputes, delivery delays, material shortages and quality issues.

Establish and improve procurement procedures, controls and approval processes.

Prepare procurement reports, cost analysis and supplier performance reports for management.

Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies, budgets and approval requirements.

Drive continuous improvement and cost reduction initiatives across the procurement function.
