Account & Admin Assistant

Job Summary

Perform comprehensive accounting and administrative tasks including month-end closing, bookkeeping, statutory accounts preparation, and data entry to support efficient financial and operational workflows.

Responsibilities

• Prepare month-end closing documents including General Ledger entries, journal entries, schedules, and bank reconciliations to ensure accurate financial reporting
• Perform general bookkeeping tasks to maintain up-to-date financial records
• Prepare year-end statutory accounts, tax computations, and filing documents to comply with regulatory requirements
• Execute office administrative duties to support daily business operations effectively
• Accurately enter data to maintain reliable and organized records
• Apply knowledge of logistic operation workflows to support relevant accounting and administrative processes

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Possess GCE ‘A’ level, diploma, or higher in a relevant discipline
• Demonstrate good communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively within the team
• Exhibit meticulousness, proactivity, and multi-tasking abilities to meet tight deadlines
• Show proficiency in computer applications, including Microsoft Office, to perform daily tasks efficiently
• Ability to start work on short notice is advantageous
