Account Executive / Senior Account Executive – Ambulatory Surgical Centre

We are seeking a highly motivated Account Executive / Senior Account Executive to join a newly established Ambulatory Surgical Centre in Singapore. This role will be reporting to the Finance Manager and be responsible for managing the core finance functions of the Ambulatory Surgical Centre.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain full set of accounts
• Handle the Accounts Payable function
• Handle the Accounts Receivable function
• Manage General Ledger (GL) accounting to ensure financial records are accurate and complete
• Ensure timely and accurate month-end reporting, in compliance with accounting standards, regulatory requirements and Group requirements
• Maintain financial records, reports and reconciliations accurately and on time
• Handle GST and corporate tax reporting
• Assist in Internal and External audits
• Support Finance Manager in management reporting, forecasting and budgeting processes
• Assist in implementation of system enhancements, IT projects, and ad hoc process improvement initiatives

What We’re Looking For:

• Diploma or Degree in Accountancy, Finance, or a related field
• 3-5 years of experience, preferably within the healthcare sector
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting systems. Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 would be an advantage
• Good understanding of accounting principles, GL accounting, month-end closing, journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations
• Able to work independently, meet deadlines and collaborate effectively as a team player
• Adaptable, self-driven and meticulous, with a positive working attitude
• Comfortable working in a startup environment with adaptability to evolving processes and pace
