Accountant

Responsibilities

Manage daily accounting operations to ensure accurate financial records and compliance with GST and regulatory requirements. Prepare financial reports, coordinate with auditors and tax agents, and support month-end and year-end closing processes.

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Equivalent qualification in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Prior accounting experience in Singapore to enhance local compliance understanding
• Knowledge of IRAS requirements, CPF/payroll, and audit preparation to support regulatory adherence
• Familiarity with accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, MYOB, or similar systems to improve efficiency
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and basic accounting spreadsheets for data management
• Basic knowledge of Singapore GST requirements and GST filing to ensure accurate tax submissions
• Ability to prepare or assist with balance sheet reconciliation to maintain financial accuracy
• Detail-oriented approach to maintain accurate and reliable records
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines to ensure timely completion of tasks
