Risk Assurance Intern

Job Summary

We are looking for motivated individuals to join us as Risk Assurance Interns. This internship provides hands-on exposure to internal audit, consultancy projects, sustainability-related research, control reviews, data analysis, and stakeholder engagement within a professional services environment.

This role sits within the Risk Assurance department.

Key Responsibilities

· Undertake assigned internal audit and consultancy projects to support clients in meeting financial, operational, and compliance objectives.

· Assist with sustainability-related secondary research, analysis, disclosure drafting, and client relationship management support.

· Coordinate project kick-off meetings and planning activities to support the reporting process.

· Identify control deficiencies and support recommendations to mitigate risk and add value.

· Support internal audit projects by identifying opportunities for improvement and reducing business risk through effective controls.

· Use data analytics and visualisation tools to identify patterns and trends in data sets and evaluate exposure to business processes.

· Engage and communicate with internal and external stakeholders in a professional manner.

Skills& Requirements

· Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in Accounting, Finance, or other relevant fields.

· Excellent attention to detail with strong organisational and time management skills.

· Analytical mindset with the ability to assess and evaluate risks and recommend practical solutions.

· Able to work independently and aspart of a team by establishing priorities and meeting deadlines.

· Excellent listening, written, and verbal communication skills.

· High level of interpersonal skills in handling sensitive and confidential documents.
