Product Application cum R&D Chemist

Job Responsibilities:

1. Develop and execute product strategies, roadmaps, and launch plans in alignment with company goals and market demands.

2. Conduct market and customer research to identify product requirements, features, and specifications.

3. Monitor product performance, gather customer feedback, and conduct analysis to identify opportunities for product enhancements and improvements.

4. Assist in the formulation and testing of new product recipes, ensuring they meet customer and industry requirements.

5. Provide technical support for new product development and assist with any emergency technical matters that arise.

6. Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, specifically chemical users, providing technical support and addressing any product-related inquiries or concerns.

7. Work closely with operations teams to ensure successful product commercialization and production.

8. Coordinate with internal teams to ensure product meets technical specifications and customer requirements.

9. Collaborate with sales teams to develop go-to-market strategies and sales support materials.

Job Requirement:

1. Master's degree or PhD in Chemistry/Organic Chemistry/Organometallic Chemistry or other related field.

2. A fresh PhD holder or a Master’s degree holder with at least 5 years of experience in specialty chemicals or semiconductor wafer fabrication will be considered advantageous.

3. Strong project management skills to effectively plan, coordinate, and execute product development projects.

4. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and meet project deadlines.

5. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively convey technical and product-related information to cross-functional teams and customers.

6. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to analyze complex technical and market data.

7. Team player with excellent interpersonal skills and strong sense of ownership.

8. Proactive and self-motivated approach with a passion for innovation and new product development and dedicated to driving projects forward.

10. Ability to multi task, work under pressure, prioritize work-load, be systematic and meticulous and able to make sound decisions - expected to have a high level of resilience, initiative, driven to excel and work in a fast pace environment.

11. Willing to travel for customer support and on-site trials.
