Part-Time WSHO/ Safety Officer / Safety Consultant

Job Responsibilities:

• Conduct workplace safety inspections and audits to identify potential hazards.
• Ensure compliance with relevant safety regulations, standards, and company policies.
• Develop and implement safety procedures, programs, and risk assessments.
• Provide safety training and awareness programs to employees.
• Investigate workplace incidents, prepare reports, and recommend corrective actions.
• Liaise with authorities and regulatory bodies regarding safety compliance matters.
• To assist the supervisors in the investigation and review of any workplace accident and advise on the remedial measures to be taken to prevent any recurrence.
• To assist the appointed risk management team in reviewing risk assessments.

Requirements:

• Recognized qualifications in Workplace Safety and Health (e.g., MOM Registered WSHO, NEBOSH, or equivalent).
• Minimum 5 years of experience in workplace safety, preferably in the Construction/Marine/Manufacturing/Aerospace industry.
• Familiarity with the Singapore WSH act, regulations or guidelines relevant to the job.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
