Role Overview

My client is a Global Fintech MNC and they are seeking a highly entrepreneurial General Manager to lead their Southeast Asia business, owning both the commercial success and product-market fit of their AI-powered health platform.

This role sits at the intersection of product, growth, partnerships, and business leadership. The successful candidate will define regional product strategy, drive user and revenue growth, establish strategic partnerships, and lead market expansion efforts across Southeast Asia.

The ideal candidate combines the commercial acumen of a GM, the customer obsession of a Product Leader, and the execution capability of a startup operator.

Key Responsibilities

Product Strategy & Market Ownership

• Own the Southeast Asia product roadmap and market strategy.

• Identify customer pain points, unmet healthcare needs, and market opportunities.

• Translate customer insights into product requirements and commercial opportunities.

• Work closely with Product, Engineering, AI, and Design teams to influence platform development.

• Champion localization initiatives to ensure strong product-market fit across diverse Southeast Asian markets.

• Establish key product success metrics including engagement, retention, conversion, and lifetime value.

Commercial Growth & P&L Leadership

• Own regional P&L and business performance.

• Develop and execute growth strategies to drive user adoption and revenue expansion.

• Lead monetization initiatives including subscriptions, enterprise offerings, healthcare partnerships, and ecosystem integrations.

• Identify new revenue streams and business models.

• Drive customer acquisition while improving retention and customer lifetime value.

Strategic Partnerships & Ecosystem Development

• Build partnerships with healthcare providers, insurers, employers, pharmaceutical companies, wellness platforms, and government stakeholders.

• Develop strategic alliances that accelerate distribution, product adoption, and market penetration.

• Negotiate and close high-impact commercial agreements.

Market Expansion

• Lead entry and expansion strategies across new Southeast Asian markets.

• Evaluate market attractiveness, competitive positioning, and go-to-market approaches.

• Establish scalable frameworks for regional growth.

Leadership & Operations

• Build and lead a high-performing regional team across product, growth, partnerships, and operations.

• Drive a culture of accountability, innovation, customer-centricity, and speed.

• Align global and local teams around key business priorities.

Ideal Candidate

Experience

• 15-20+ years of experience spanning product management, general management, commercial leadership, or growth roles.

• Proven track record owning both business outcomes and product strategy.

• Experience scaling digital consumer platforms, healthtech, AI products, super apps, fintech, or technology businesses.

• Demonstrated P&L ownership and revenue growth responsibility.

• Strong experience launching and scaling products across Southeast Asia.
