Head of Logistics & Supply Chain – Semiconductor

About the Role

Our client is an established company expanding its presence in the semiconductor and advanced manufacturing sector. They are looking for an experienced Head of Logistics & Supply Chain to build and lead the logistics function supporting major regional and international projects.

This is a strategic leadership role covering project logistics, supplier expediting, material management, warehousing, international freight and site logistics. You will work closely with Engineering, Procurement, Project Management and Construction teams to ensure materials and equipment are delivered safely, efficiently and on time.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and lead the company's logistics and supply chain strategy.
• Build and manage the logistics, materials and expediting team.
• Oversee project logistics for semiconductor and advanced manufacturing projects.
• Manage supplier expediting and delivery of critical and long-lead equipment.
• Oversee warehouse, inventory and material control operations.
• Manage international freight, customs clearance and logistics service providers.
• Establish logistics processes, KPIs and reporting systems.
• Support project planning, site mobilisation and construction requirements.
• Manage relationships with suppliers, freight forwarders and logistics partners.
• Identify supply chain risks and develop contingency plans.
• Drive logistics cost optimisation and continuous improvement.
• Support regional expansion and development of the company's logistics capabilities.
