Position Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior HR Executive to lead our human resources initiatives within the logistics sector. This role is integral in driving talent acquisition strategies, enhancing employee engagement, and implementing performance management systems that align with our organizational goals. The Senior HR Executive will also oversee compliance with labour laws and regulations, manage internal and external stakeholder relationships, and ensure smooth operations within HR processes. This position is pivotal in fostering a positive work environment and supporting our logistics team in achieving operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

Talent Acquisition:

· Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract top talent in logistics and supply chain management.

· Collaborate with department heads to identify staffing needs and create job descriptions tailored to specific roles.

· Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding new hires.

Employee Relations:

· Act as a point of contact for employee concerns and grievances, addressing issues promptly and effectively.

· Foster a positive work environment through regular communication and employee engagement initiatives.

· Mediate conflict resolution and provide guidance on HR-related matters.

Performance Management:

· Design and implement performance appraisal systems that align employee goals with organizational objectives.

· Provide training to managers on performance management best practices and feedback mechanisms.

· Support career development initiatives and succession planning for key positions within the logistics department.

Stakeholder Engagement:

· Work closely with internal stakeholders, including department heads and management, to align HR initiatives with business goals.

· Build and maintain relationships with external stakeholders, including manpower and transportation clients, to ensure smooth collaboration and service delivery.

· Act as a liaison between the organization and external partners to address HR-related needs and concerns.

Training:

· Identify training needs within the manpower and transportation teams and arrange/coordinate and register for relevant training programs.

· Promote continuous learning and professional development opportunities.

· Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and make necessary adjustments.

Audit Management:

· Conduct regular audits of HR processes and practices to ensure compliance and effectiveness.

· Prepare audit reports and implement corrective actions as required.

· Collaborate with internal and external auditors to facilitate smooth auditing processes.

Completion of MOM Surveys:

· Oversee the completion of MOM (Management of Operations) surveys to gauge employee satisfaction and operational efficiency.

· Analyse survey results and develop action plans to address identified issues.

· Report findings to senior management and recommend improvements based on feedback.

Operations Administration:

· Support the logistics team with operations administration tasks, ensuring efficient HR service delivery.

· Assist in implementing HR initiatives that enhance operational effectiveness.

· Collaborate with operations management to streamline processes and improve workforce productivity.

Compliance and Policy Development:

· Ensure adherence to labour laws and regulations relevant to the logistics industry.

· Develop and update HR policies and procedures to align with best practices and compliance requirements.

· Conduct regular audits to ensure HR practices are compliant with legal standards.

Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; Master’s degree or HR certification preferred.

· Minimum of 5 years or more of experience in HR, with at least 2 years in a logistics or supply chain environment.

· Strong understanding of employment laws and regulations specific to the logistics sector.

· Proven experience in talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, and audit management.

· Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.

· Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
