Lead Systems Engineer

We are looking for a Lead Systems Engineer, who is technically strong but also enjoys driving projects to drive the development of products across electronics, firmware and mechanical.

The ideal candidate is someone who has a good grasp of electronics, mechanical and firmware considerations, bringing different teams together, and keeping complex product development moving forward.

This is a hands-on technical leadership role where you will lead system integration, resolve technical challenges and coordinate closely with multidisciplinary engineering teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Own and drive exciting product development projects across electronics, firmware, mechanical and optics
• Bring multidisciplinary engineering teams together, driving projects from concept to successful product launch
• Lead system integration, testing and troubleshooting to ensure products perform to the highest standards
• Turn product requirements into practical, innovative engineering solutions
• Take the lead in resolving complex technical challenges across different engineering disciplines
• Drive design reviews, validation and technical risk management throughout the product lifecycle
• Explore new technologies and ideas, supporting feasibility studies and continuous product innovation

Requirements

• 5+ years of engineering experience, with experience in electronics, embedded systems or related
• Experience delivering products through the full development cycle
• Good exposure and understanding of electronics, firmware and mechanical engineering disciplines
• Ability to work across functions and connect different technical teams
• Strong project ownership, problem-solving and technical leadership skills
• Experience in system integration, validation, FMEA or reliability engineering is an advantage
• Good understanding of manufacturability and production processes
