🕒 Working Hours:

• Monday to Thursday: 7:00 AM – 4:15 PM, inclusive of 45-minute lunch break
• Friday: 7:00 AM – 3:45 PM, inclusive of 45-minute lunch break
• No service on Saturdays, Sundays and gazetted public holidays

We are looking for an experienced and responsible Science Lab Assistant to support the Science Department in maintaining the school's science laboratories and assisting with laboratory activities. The successful candidate will support experimental preparation, laboratory housekeeping, and other duties assigned by the HOD or School STEM Instructors.

• 🧪 Assist the Science Department in maintaining the school's science laboratories.
• 🔬 Prepare experimental setups and materials for laboratory work.
• 🧹 Maintain cleanliness, housekeeping, and organization of science laboratories.
• 📦 Assist with the preparation and arrangement of laboratory resources.
• 🤝 Support Science Department staff and STEM Instructors with laboratory-related activities.
• 📋 Perform other duties assigned by the HOD or School STEM Instructors.

• 🎓 Minimum GCE 'N' Level Certificate or equivalent and above.
• 💼 Educational qualifications may be offset with relevant work experience.
• 🗣️ Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• 🧠 Good analytical and negotiation skills.
• 🔄 Ability to multitask and manage routine responsibilities effectively.
• 👤 Able to work independently as well as within a team.
• 🌡️ Able to carry out routine tasks in a non-air-conditioned environment.

• ✔️ Minimum 4 years of working experience in a secondary school Chemistry laboratory.
• ✔️ Strong experience in laboratory preparation and housekeeping.
• ✔️ Experience supporting Chemistry laboratory activities in a school environment is required.
