Senior Cloud Infrastructure Specialist (Azure)

Job Description.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Conduct a comprehensive assessment of company’s current infrastructure landscape
• Engage stakeholders to gather requirements and validate system criticality
• Define target cloud architecture and migration approach
• Develop a structured cloud migration plan
• Produce architecture and design documentation - Support hybrid environments and troubleshooting
• Establish operational controls (monitoring, logging, backup, etc.)
• Apply cloud security and governance controls
• Drive Knowledge transfer within the company IT team, ensuring key cloud knowledge is retained
• Maintain comprehensive documentation
• Work collaboratively with company teams with full ownership
• Lead migration execution (hands-on or vendor-managed as PIC)
• Provide operational support when bandwidth permits

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum bachelor’s degree in a relevant field. Azure certifications are advantageous.

EXPERIENCEREQUIRED –

• 5–8 years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure, with proven experience leading Azure migration initiatives.
• Strong experience in assessment, design, and migration planning
• Ability to define architecture and migration strategy
• Experience operating at solution design / technical lead level
• Strong Azure infrastructure experience (VMs, networking, identity)
• Strong Microsoft infrastructure background
• Ability to work independently end-to-end.
• Automation and IaaC experience advantageous
