About this job

DevOps developer to join engineering team. End-to-end application development – from designing, developing, and maintaining robust backend microservices using Java and Spring Boot, managing relational data with MariaDB, and developing dynamic frontend interfaces with Angular and Node.js using modern JavaScript frameworks to building operational dashboards and reports using Kibana. also actively be involved in CI/CD pipeline, automated integration and deployment across all environments.

Key Responsibilities

Backend Development

  • Design and develop scalable RESTful APIs and microservices using Java and Spring Boot
  • Implement business logic, data access layers, and service integrations.
  • Manage and optimize MariaDB databases including schema design, query optimisation, indexing, and performance tuning.
  • Apply security best practices including OAuth2, JWT-based authentication, and data encryption.
  • Develop and consume third-party API integrations.
  • Fullstack DevOpsDeveloper ((Java/Spring Boot/MariaDB/Angular/ELK Kibana)

Frontend Development

  • Build responsive, dynamic, and user-friendly web applications using Angular.
  • Develop server-side logic and middleware using Node.js, Spring boot
  • Write clean, maintainable JavaScript/TypeScript code following best practices.
  • Collaborate with UI/US designers to translate designs into functional interfaces
  • Ensure cross-browser compatibility and mobile responsiveness

Reporting & Observability (Kibana/ELK stack)

  • Design and develop operational dashboards and reports using Kibana.
  • Ingest, index, and manage application and business data using ElasticSearch
  • Configure Logstash or Beats for log collection and data pipeline ingestion
  • Build visualizations including time-series charts, data tables, heatmaps, and KPI metrics in Kibana.
  • Work with stakeholders to define reporting requirements and translate them into Kibana dashboards.
  • Monitor application health, error, rates, and performance trends through Kibana observability features.

CI/CD Pipeline, Collaboration and Quality

  • Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools such as:
  • Automate build, test and deployment workflows across development, staging and production environments.
  • Implement automated testing gates within pipelines – unit, integration and regression testing.
  • Manage containerized deployments using Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Ensure deployment rollback strategies.
  • Participate actively in Agile/Scrum ceremonies – sprint planning, stand-ups, review and retrospectives.
  • Produce and maintain technical documentation for APIs, pipelines and dashboards.
  • Collaborate with DevOps and business stakeholders throughout the development life cycle.

Requirements

Must Have:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering or related field.
  • 5+ years of full stack development experience in Java, Sprint Boot and Angular.
  • Strong proficiency in MariaDB or MySQL – schema design, stored procedure, query optimization.
  • Hands-on experience with Node.js and JavaScript/TypeScript.
  • Demonstrated experience building Kibana dashboards and reports using ELK stack.
  • Practical experience designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines
  • Working knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes for containerised deployments
  • Proficiency with Git and branching strategies
