Purchaser

Salary: $2,300 – $2,800 per month
Working Days: Monday – Friday, 5-day work week
Working Hours: 8:30am – 6:00pm
Employment Type: Full-Time

Roles & Responsibilities

• Handle day-to-day purchasing activities and procurement of materials, supplies and other company requirements.
• Source and evaluate suppliers based on pricing, quality, availability and delivery requirements.
• Request and compare quotations and negotiate with suppliers where required.
• Prepare and process Purchase Orders (PO) and maintain proper purchasing documentation.
• Follow up closely with suppliers on order status and delivery schedules.
• Coordinate with internal departments to ensure materials and supplies are delivered according to operational requirements.
• Monitor outstanding orders and resolve delivery, quantity or quality discrepancies with suppliers.
• Maintain and update supplier information, pricing and purchasing records.
• Assist with inventory and purchasing-related administrative duties when required.
• Perform other procurement-related duties assigned by management.

Requirements

• Relevant experience in purchasing, procurement, sourcing or supply chain will be advantageous.
• Good communication and negotiation skills.
• Able to communicate and coordinate effectively with suppliers.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and comfortable handling purchasing documentation.
• Organised, responsible and able to follow up independently.
• Candidates without extensive experience but with a willingness to learn may also be considered.
