Digital Construction researcher

Brief Summary:

This role involves planning and managing innovative projects that leverage advanced technologies to enhance construction processes. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in transforming the landscape of construction through digitalization.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee project teams and drive development initiatives.
• Provide support to on-site teams for the implementation of advanced technologies.
• Research and identify emerging technologies to foster innovation in construction.
• Plan, test, and implement digital solutions in real-world construction projects.
• Assist in grant applications and funding proposals.
• Document project outcomes and extract key learnings.

Requirements:

• Relevant educational background in project coordination, construction technology, digitalization, or a related field.
• Demonstrated experience in project management and technology integration within construction environments.
• Proficient in BIM software and associated technologies.
• Basic knowledge of construction processes and methodologies.
• Familiarity with software development or training related to BIM is preferred.
• Understanding of 3D scanning and point cloud technology.
• Basic programming or scripting knowledge is an advantage.
