Powertrain System Engineer

About the role

Weare looking for a Powertrain Systems Engineer to provide technical expertiseand customer support across electric motor and powertrain applications. Youwill work closely with customers and R&D teams on motor design, FOCcontrol, NVH, system integration, testing and troubleshooting, supportingprojects from development through mass production.

Key responsibilities

· Serve as the technical interface forpowertrain systems and provide technical support to customers onpowertrain-related matters, including but not limited to:

o Motordesign and development

o Motorcontrol algorithms

o NVH(Noise, Vibration and Harshness) analysis and troubleshooting

o Powertrainsystem matching, integration and application.

· Respond promptly to customer technical issues,conduct problem analysis and drive issues to closure by coordinating with theR&D team in China.

· Participate in technical discussions withcustomers and support project development, testing and validation, andmass-production introduction.

· Gather customer requirements and industryinsights, and drive product optimization and technical improvements.

· Support overseas project delivery, includingtechnical documentation and communication, testing support, issue reproductionand on-site commissioning/debugging.

About you

· Bachelor’s degree or above in ElectricalEngineering, Mechanical Manufacturing and Automation, Electric Drives, or arelated discipline.

· 3 years of relevant experience in powertrainsystems.

· Strong understanding of electromagnetic motordesign principles and familiarity with the design and development processes ofPermanent Magnet Synchronous Motors (PMSM), induction motors, and related motortechnologies.

· Familiar with motor control algorithms such asField-Oriented Control (FOC).

· Experience in NVH analysis, with anunderstanding of electromagnetic noise, structural vibration and relevantoptimization methods.

· Familiar with motor structures, motor-relatedmaterials, and motor manufacturing and assembly processes.
