Clinic Assistant

Job Summary

This clinic support role ensures smooth daily operations across clinical, administrative, and housekeeping functions. You will assist in patient registration, clinical procedures, medication dispensing, equipment sterilisation, and administrative tasks to support the clinic team and improve patient experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepare the clinic for each shift by performing general housekeeping and ensuring cleanliness
• Verify the accuracy of petty cash opening balances and check the functionality of POS systems
• Restock consumables in doctors' and treatment rooms to maintain supply levels
• Register patients and verify their eligibility for government and corporate benefits
• Update TPA benefits in the Clinic Management System (CMS) to streamline post-consultation and payment processes
• Dispense medication accurately by confirming the correct drug, dosage, quantity, and administration route for each patient
• Assist clinicians during minor procedures and provide chaperoning support
• Perform minor clinical procedures such as ECG and measure patient vitals, then record results in CMS
• Support patients in scheduling follow-up appointments and managing visit schedules
• Wash and sterilise medical devices and equipment to maintain hygiene standards

Required competencies and certifications

• Minimum GCE 'N' level qualification

• Willingness to work shifts including weekends and evenings
• Experience in hospitality or healthcare settings
• Ability to work collaboratively with team members and communicate effectively
• Familiarity with clinic management systems and related technology
• Multilingual communication skills (advantageous for patient interaction)
