Job Summary

You will prepare and cook haute French cuisine following SOPs to ensure consistent quality and presentation in a fine dining setting, maintain kitchen safety and hygiene, manage supplies efficiently, and support smooth kitchen operations.

Responsibilities

• Prepare food according to SOPs to ensure consistent quality and presentation in a French fine dining environment
• Cook and present French dishes efficiently, adhering to company operations manual and standards
• Assist in preparing, cooking, garnishing, and presenting food to meet quality expectations
• Stay informed about current promotions and new menu items to support kitchen readiness
• Maintain compliance with procedures for supplies, equipment, and work areas to meet established standards
• Operate kitchen equipment safely and report maintenance issues promptly to the Chef
• Assist in accurate food ordering and maintain appropriate stock levels
• Estimate required supplies and costs for food and ingredients to support budgeting and inventory control

Required competencies and certifications

• Minimum of 1 year experience in a basic culinary position
• Basic cooking skills and knowledge of sanitary food handling practices
